Services
Because many of American YouthWorks’ (AYW) participants lack
adequate health care, The RGK Foundation Downtown Youth Center for
Health was created. Housed at AYW’s Downtown Campus, (216
E. 4th St.), this program is operated in partnership with People's
Community Clinic (PCC).
The Health Center provides no and low cost health services to AYW
participants, ages 16 to 25, and other at-risk youth in Travis County.
No one is turned away for inability to pay.
Health services include:
- Immunizations
- Vision and hearing
- First aid
- Physical exams
- STD, pregnancy tests/prevention
- Pharmacy
- HIV counseling and testing.
