Clear Donates Laptops to American YouthWorks

Clearwire

Clearwire Communications (CLEAR) will donate 10 embedded WiMAX laptops from Samsung and a year of 4G wireless service to American YouthWorks to support underserved students who would otherwise not have access to technology. The donation was presented at a launch event at the Arboretum in which Clearwire debuted their service in Austin which will provide 4G wireless access to a 420 square mile radius in the Austin area.

Casa Verde Builder  Trainer Levi Singleton was on hand to accept the donation on behalf of AYW. Levi and other service members look forward to using the computers to support service learning activities, especially in remote areas around Austin where members must travel to learn and earn service hours. Thank you CLEAR!
