American YouthWorks Charter High School is a fully-accredited public high school by the Texas Education Agency, serving youth ages 16-21. Its curriculum is aligned to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills standards. Aside from offering the state core curriculum, the high school also offers a vibrant arts program, basketball and volleyball, an onsite parent/child development center, and a mentoring and tutoring program.

American YouthWorks provides a unique learning environment to meet each of our students’ individualized learning styles and needs. We employ highly qualified teachers to ensure academic success in classrooms with a low, maximum 18:1, student to teacher ratio. Students are also able to take part in our self-paced learning program, enabling them to recover credits rapidly and graduate on time.
