Acting Superintendent/Director of Finance

Jenny Emmons has worked in alternative education for the last fourteen years as a social worker and educator at American YouthWorks. Jenny has a Bachelor’s of Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. She has been instrumental in developing and implementing all educational program aspects of American YouthWorks Charter School, one of the first generation of Charter School in the State of Texas. Jenny has the philosophy that each and every student must have the opportunity to complete high school, regardless of their educational ability or life situation.

Jenny is married and has three children.
